Playstyle
Melee DPS built around Colossus Smash burst windows, generating almost all of its resources passively through auto-attacks and spending them on active abilities. Icy-Veins calls it 'a very straightforward and relatively simple spec' — good mobility (Heroic Leap, Charge, Intervene) and strong defensive cooldowns make it comfortable to pick up, even if avoiding rage starvation or wasted Overpower charges takes a bit of attention.
Battle Shout keeps it relevant for raid composition
Season 2 Tier Set
Jade Warlord's Dominion
Mortal Strike damage increased by 10% and when you Slam a target, Slam also deals damage to enemies within 8 yards of it. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
Overpower damage increased by 15%. Mortal Strike and Overpower increase the damage of your next Slam by 10%, stacking up to 3 times.
+ The Good
Battle Shout keeps it relevant for raid composition
Genuinely versatile single-target/cleave/AoE toolkit
Solid personal survivability
− The Bad
Current tuning is explicitly called undertuned in both raid and Mythic+
Limited burst multi-target damage
Poor self-sustain against loosely spread packs
Rage generation leans heavily on the Shaman-provided Skyfury buff being present
Very susceptible to downtime — most Rage comes from auto-attacks rather than ranged or passive sources
No damage immunity and essentially no self-healing

Hero talents
Doesn't add new buttons, but sharply amplifies Execute and Bladestorm, using both far more often for much bigger numbers. Weaker defensively than Colossus, but gains extra mobility on Charge/Heroic Leap plus the ability to interrupt/stun while channeling Bladestorm.
Adds a new channeled ability, Demolish, on top of boosted Cleave and Mortal Strike, plus a passive near-death heal. The more defensively minded of the two trees.
